A one-time flight is available for one parent of a lone soldier recognized as such by the army, provided that such parent currently resides outside of Israel.
• NBN will cover the expense of a return economy class flight booked in coordination with the participant, which will be paid directly to the travel agent/airline. Notwithstanding the aforesaid, (i) NBN’s total contribution towards a flight shall be capped at: US$900 for flights from European destinations; and US$1800 for flights from other destinations. Any excess cost shall be covered by the participant, including the cost of any upgrade; and (ii) all participants shall be required to pay a non-refundable participation fee at the time of booking the flight: $100 for a flight from a European destination; $200 from other destinations.
• The flight will be subject to the terms and conditions of the airline, including as regards changes or cancellations of flights and associated charges, and any such charges shall be borne by participant.
• Participants will be solely responsible for all other costs associated with the visit – including, without limitation, insurance, lodging, food, and domestic travel.
• Participants need to obtain appropriate health and travel insurance coverage prior to their flight.
• Participants should make sure they have a valid passport (valid for at least 6 months from the last day in Israel) and check whether there is a visa requirement for their travel.
• NBN cannot guarantee that all those registering will be able to obtain a flight, since this will depend on funding and flight availability.
• Participants understand that Israel is in an emergency situation and are aware of the risks of travel at such a time.
• Participants waive any and all claims against NBN or anyone on its behalf in relation to any damage, to body or property, caused to a participant or a third party as a result of their travel or participation in this program.
• Participants agree that NBN shall store and use their personal data in accordance with NBN’s privacy policy and agree that NBN may photograph participants and use their name, voice, and pictures (still or film) at NBN’s discretion to promote its activities.
• NBN reserves the right to discontinue or modify this offer at any time at its sole and absolute discretion.
• NBN reserves the right to limit which flights and/or airlines are available to choose from.
